Obituary of Ed Wood Parker

Ed Wood Parker, the youngest of five children of John Lancey Parker and Ila Done.  Born January 16, 1955 in Compton, CA.  Died February 22, 2021 in Tucson, AZ.  Ed was a 1973 graduate of Catalina High School and attended the University of Arizona.  He served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Australia, worked with the Pima County Republican Party, and ran a small business installing appliances.  Ed was a positive influence with teenagers as a mentor and friend.  He was well liked in the community and church.  Most of his life he lived in Tucson. He is preceded in death by his father.  He is survived by his mother Ila Done Conger Parker Petty, wife Natasha Kalina, a daughter Anna, two brothers Stan Conger and John Parker, two sisters Patsy Offen (Jimmy) and Jeannie Luke (Hal), uncle Boyd Done (Jeanette) and 28 nieces and nephews.  Grave side service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 5, 2021, at Binghampton LDS Cemetery, 4001 N Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ.  (Please no flowers – donations to family welcomed)
