Obituary of Paul Joseph Trudeau

Paul Joseph Trudeau was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing on December 31, 2020. He was lovingly known to all as "Papa with the Flat Top". He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 31, 1934. He is preceded in death by his wife, Treasia Trudeau, parents Rosario and Caroline Trudeau, and his two sons.
Survived by daughters, siblings Rosemary Place and James Trudeau, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He had a lengthy military career and was Honorably
Discharged from the Airforce and the Air National Guard. His deployments include 2 tours of Vietnam and the Panama Missile Crisis. His military occupation was an aircraft mechanic. He had an extensive knowledge of all military aircraft. He could hear a plane and instantly know what type of plane it was. Most of his children,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were educated through sight and sound of military aircraft. Those were fun days with Papa with the Flat Top. Due to his vast mechanical knowledge, he had the privilege of workingon the first spaceship, Apollo 11.  He loved spending time with his family. He was an avid fisherman who taught his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren how to fish. He loved the family camping trips, sitting around the campfires talking, and just enjoying life with family. He also enjoyed swimmingand diving. He competed on the military diving team. Along with bowling on a Semi-Pro team, he participated in the Senior Olympics as a shuffleboard player with Rincon Country. They won several Gold, Silver, and
Bronze medals. One of his favorite past times was going to the casino and playing Kino and Bingo.  He was undoubtedly one of the most patient souls on  Earth. He was one of the best people you would want to know. He was kind and understanding. He was our confidant. We miss and love you dearly. Until we're all together again…
