Irma Guerra-Scott posted a condolence

In the sixties, the Korth family moved to Southfield Dr, Houston, Texas directly across the street from our family. Pete and my father, Rosendo, quickly became fast friends. There are too many stories to tell but Pete and my dad kept everyone on their toes. Time passed and connections were lost until 2020. We found the Korths again and were lucky to have facetimed with Pete with summer. How we laughed and shared some of those funny stories. May Pete and Dad meet again and have some more fun together. The Guerra’s send their condolences to the entire Korth family and are thankful that we reconnected. With deepest condolences, Irma, Irmita, Maria, Chendito, Sara, Ana.

I have known Pete since he married my sister. My husband Richard and I and he and Mary raised our children about the same time and spent many vacations visiting each other and watching our children playing and having good times together.
Pete was definitely a unique person for anybody who knew him. The first thing you would notice about him is his love and adoration for his beloved wife Mary, and the love and pride of his five children. Then came his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were all very special to him and they knew he loved them. But, and this is an important note, his deep love and devotion to God and His Son Jesus was his first and highest priority. He and Mary prayed together daily from their prayer list. I never saw a man who loved his wife like Pete did. On top of all this he had a sense of humor who made everyone laugh. He didn't interfere in anybody's business unless he was asked for advice. Then he would be glad to help them. I think he is walking arm in arm with his friend Jesus talking, laughing and praying together. He will be sorely missed here on earth.

Pete’s philosophy was “Each day do a golden deed...”. He lived that everyday. Peace and Joy to those that survive.

I’ve sat and wondered what I would put on here. Words are not enough, my dad was everything to his family. He loved his kids, grandchildren , son in laws, ,daughter in law, great grandchildren, and wife unconditionally. We loved him unconditionally. It’s going to be hard to get over losing him. He was the best dad to us, he was fun, funny, nice, loving and perfect. He was my king, I will forever be grateful we got him so long. I love you dad. Rest In Peace. Jesus gained a special angel and we lost our angel. Thanks for my perfect life. I will see you again someday. I love you dearly. Have fun In Heaven daddy. Never stop watching us. Love always and forever sally p.s keep pranking Jerry, he deserves it.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of my Uncle Pete. In addition to being a kind person, Pete was a great story teller and very funny. He loved to play pranks on people. One time, he sprayed by mom with the produce hose in the supermarket! He could also be found moving furniture around in model homes!
Pete loved the Lord and he loved his wife and children. He's going to be missed by all. Thanks for the memories, Uncle Pete!

When I see the picture of my brother-in-law, memories flood my mind of what an amazing guy he was. He made everyone laugh and was more fun to be around......he did crazy things but I think when he really and truly met
Jesus, he became a bit more serious but never lost his bizarre sense of humor! He adored his kids and grandkids and they adored him. He and my sister had a marriage made in heaven! She will be lost without him so please pray for her and their children. We will sure miss you. Rest in peace, Prabbit! You were one of a kind! xo

I can’t even pick out one, two or even three memories of my sweet papa. I never knew my dad’s dad and my papa always made up for that. He was kind, loving, hilarious, and loyal. To know my papa is to know a true hero. I remember him and Bowie taking all of us kids to the plaza in KC to see Santa then going to Winsteads to get hamburgers after. I remember his very own sweets cabinet where he kept his cherry balls and Eat Well cookies. He used to put on random and very creepy masks and would come up and surprise everyone. I remember going to Florida and we would eat at all these fancy restaurants and at the end of the trip we went around and said what our favorite restaurant was when it was his turn he said his favorite was the Target store’s food court. I remember his Mickey Mouse phone and all of us kids would play in his office and he would let us play with it. I remember going to church every Sunday then going to breakfast at Hi-Vee, he was so happy to eat breakfast for two dollars! There was once a grouchy old woman in Florida at the pool that would get mad at us kids splashing and having fun. Well papa did a cannonball next to her and proceeded to swim obnoxious laps next to her. There’s just so many amazing things about my papa that I will miss. He was a gentle soul who loved to laugh, play music, and he adored his wife more than anything in the whole world. My fondest memory of him has to be when he became ordained. He married my brother and his wife, me and my husband, and my cousin Molly and her husband. He was truly selfless. He lived for Jesus and I’ll never forget the last time I talked to him, I asked how they were treating him in the hospital and he said excitedly “well I get to go home tomorrow.” The very next day he went home to heaven. He died the night of the 21st, when the Christmas Star shone bright. I can’t help but think of how proud he was of that. I love you papa and I miss you so very much! I can’t wait to see you again someday when I am lucky enough to be where you are.

My grandpa was the funniest, most welcoming, amazing person I’ve ever met in my life. He would do whatever it took to make someone laugh. Such a special soul with the best smile I’ve ever seen. He will be forever missed. Thank you for everything my dear papa. I can’t wait for the day I get to see you again. As heartbroken as I am, I’m happy you are in the place you’ve always wanted to be. Lucky you-you get to celebrate the birth of Christ in heaven. I love you papa.

My uncle Pete was married to my mom’s sister Mary Kay (Noonie). Pete was a very special person. Super smart (Mensa club), easy going, practical joker, great father, great husband and servant of the Lord. I know he is in heaven now but I will really miss him.
My heartfelt condolences to Noonie and children.
