Obituary of Kenneth Harold McLean

Kenneth Harold McLean was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 14, 1927 to Eva Tomena Nielson and Harold William McLean. He returned to his Heavenly Father and beloved wife Virginia on July 7, 2019 in Gilbert, Arizona surrounded by loved ones. He is preceded in death by his wife, sweetheart and best friend of 63 years, Virginia Peterson McLean. They married on May 22, 1950 in Ephraim, Utah. He is brother to Thomas Arthur McLean (deceased). He is father of five children: Jeffrey Kenneth McLean (Linda Lee), Mark Craig McLean (Barbara Bulson), Scott Michael McLean (deceased), Peter Thomas McLean (Shere Holmes) and Jerrilynn McLean Comollo (Adriano Comollo). His posterity includes 25 beloved grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He graduated from the University of Utah with his Civil Engineering degree in Salt Lake City, Utah. He had a prosperous and fulfilling career as a civil engineer. He served for many years as a Patriarch for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a calling he loved very much. He will always be remembered for his kindness and quick wit, dedication to his Savior, teaching, and serving his family, friends and associates. Kenneth, you are sorely missed by all who have been blessed by and loved by you.
