Edith Yolanda Allison Purcell

93 years old, went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2018 preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Purcell, her daughter Janet, brothers Frank and Valentine Allison, sister-in-laws Jenny and Martha Allison.

She is survived by her daughter Katie Thornhill, son-in-law Reggie Thornhill, granddaughter Tara Orr, grandson Sean Ruse, and her great-grandchildren Kayla Ann, Austin Daniel, and Asher James.

Edith was the last child of Tucson pioneer Warren Henry Allison. Her roots reached deep into the heart of old Pueblo. Her father Warren was a prominent businessman in the early days of Tucson’s history. 

She was employed by Hughes Aircraft/Raytheon and retired in 1988.
