Obituary of Elizabeth L. Krzysik

Elizabeth Leonora Krzysik

September 6, 1938 – January 24, 2024

Thomaston, Connecticut – Tucson, Arizona

Daughter, sister, beloved wife & mother, Bachi (Grandmother), great-grandmother, sister-in-law, cousin and friend.

Betty completed her earthly responsibilities and moved on to greater glory on Wednesday, January 24th under the prayerful presence of her loving family.

She is preceded in death by Henry J. Krzysik Sr., her husband of 63 years as well as her parents, Adolph and Stella Wojciechowski

She is survived by her siblings, A. Joseph Wojciechowski (Ruth), Carol Shouse (Howard) and Stella Hostetler

Sons Hank, David & Robert, daughter Doreen and daughters in-law Annette Price, Deborah and Lynanne

9 grandchildren Ryan, Jannette, Kevin, Michael, Danielle, Brandon, Christopher, Joanna and Hannah;

and 6 great grandchildren Zachary, Madison, Nichole, Jason, Dillon and Olivia

Betty moved to Tucson from Thomaston after graduating from high school where she decorated windows at Lerners department store, worked as a bank teller, as a docent and admissions clerk at the Reid Park Zoo and at the DMAFB Thrift Shop.

She was a Eucharistic Minister and a catechism teacher at Our Mother of Sorrows Church an active member the KC-ettes, of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, a passionate Bingo and Bunco player, a creative cake decorator and she was generous and accomplished in her crochet work.

Betty loved her family and friends and was an excellent hugger.

She was proud of her legacy and will be missed by many.
