Obituary of Stephen Michael Glowacka

Stephen Michael Glowacka passed away on January 29th 2024 in Tucson. He was 77 years old.

Stephen was born in East Orange, NJ in 1946 and was the child and grandchild of World War veterans. He attended Union College in Cranford, NJ and married Susan, his high school sweetheart, shortly after graduation. Eventually his job at IBM relocated him to Tucson in 1983, and he spent most of his career as an Information Technology professional, working for a variety of employers in Arizona. After retirement, he started his own consulting company. Stephen and Susan had four children over the years, Danielle, Stephen, Kelliann, and Vincent.

In addition to his love for computers, Stephen also enjoyed soccer. He served as a youth league coach for several years and referee for nearly his entire time in Arizona. He enjoyed helping people, often volunteering to help them fix their personal and business computers. And of course, he devoted countless hours to his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, children, and six grandchildren, Sidney, Riley, Sean, Madison, Landon, and Conner.

A funeral mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Tucson, AZ will be held on February, 10th at 10 am. Family, friends, and colleagues are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
