Obituary of The Very Rev. Dr. H. Reynolds Stone

With sadness, the family of The Very Rev. Dr. H. Reynolds Stone announces his death on December 31, 2023 in his longtime Tucson home, after a brief illness. He was 95.

A longtime professor at The University of Arizona in the Spanish and Portuguese Department from 1965 to 1995,  he was also ordained as an  Anglican Priest and served both St. Judes and St. Bedes Anglican Churches in Tucson for more than 45 years. 

 He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Susan, in 2017. He is survived by his daughter Anna Elizabeth "Betsy" and his sons Jonathan (Crystal) and Joseph (Glynis), as well as grandchildren Jakob, Seamus and Kacen.

On Saturday February 3, 2024 a memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at BRING'S Broadway Chapel.
