Obituary of James T. Taylor

James T. Taylor Sr., 82, of Tucson, passed away unexpectedly on December 13, 2023, after a courageous battle with a serious illness. James was born on Oct 6, 1941 to parents Wesley and Arie Taylor in Terrell, Texas. 

James T. Taylor Sr., better known as “T” or "JT" to his friends, led a fulfilling life and will be remembered for his love for cooking, playing card games and dominos. He loved creating personal cards and funny Jib Jabs during the holidays. Go Cowboys! James touched the lives of those around him in countless ways and will be greatly missed. 

James T. Taylor Sr. is survived by his wife, Wita Taylor, of 64 years; his sons, James Taylor Jr. and Art Taylor; his daughter, Shanda Charles; his sister, Juanita Edmond;  his grandchildren, James Taylor (Jay), Tikisha, Sharelle, Kyree and Trenton; his great-grandchildren, Jyree, Keyon, LaShaundra, Anthony, Andre Nyzir Adrian and Jason.
