Ray was my wife's employer in Payson. He became my PCP. He inevitably became a friend and was the most down to earth, practical doctor I've ever had. He oozed of common sense. And I admired him for that. I'll never forget him riding up to my house behind the hospital, on his beloved Moto Guzzi just to say "hi", as the bike dripped oil in the street. Ray didn't care. He was having fun! Many other stories of Ray doing procedures in his office (which he was qualified to do) in order to save patients money by having those procedures done at the hospital. He was everything anyone could wish for in a hometown doc.

I still can’t believe he’s gone. He was our doctor for at least 15 years. Such a special and wisLr person. A really good man. He always had time to listen. He is the only doctor my youngest remembers. He would often speak proudly of his two daughters and I am so sorry for his families loss. I am grateful to have known him. I like to picture him on his beloved motorcycle riding on the roads of heaven.

Dr. Hatch encompassed all of the qualities you look for in a physician - knowledgeable, patient-focused, great bed side manner, wonderful sense of humor, and always had time for everybody! Thinking of his family, he was a wonderful Physician and even better person!

Dr. Hatch was the best, he's been my only adult Dr..he was a great listener and was never a pill pusher, I loved his home remedies he's passed on and I'm greatly saddened by the news. I remember going to his office and he asked what's ur body telling.. I said it's telling me I'm pregnant and he said ok and sent the referral and sure enough I was in my second trimester. My point is, it's hard to find a great Dr, he listened. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

My Huz Jimmie and I are so sorry for the Hatch family loss. Just like everyone has said he was the best of the best. Friend, doctor, caring concerned, listened. He was just like your neighbor. No airs. Down to earth and was straight forward. These assets were what my husband valued most and we both love Doctor Hatch.

I just received a letter today from Carondolet Medical Group informing me that Dr Hatch had passed away. I was shocked. He was my doctor ever since he moved to Tucson (15 years or more). As others here have said, he is the best doctor I have had in my life. Explained everything clearly, no God complex, and always glad to see me. I fear it will be impossible to find another physician of his caliber.

I have had the great pleasure of knowing Dr. Hatch for the past 7 years. He has always treated me w/ such kindness n compassion. Has always gone above n beyond in his explanation for what ales me. That was my favorite thing about him, he was my "encyclopedia"of information. He had an answer to any question I ever asked. Every visit I came in he always had a smile for me n a hug and always asked how I was n my family. He always cared. I loved him as a friend as much as I appreciated him as my dr.I was lucky too have had such a great dr. And it was a pleasure to have known such a great man. He would always take time to acknowledge my grandson during our visit as well n let him be involved if at all possible. My grandson is autistic, is now 9 . I remember one of our lat visits he let him put on the bandaid after my shots. It made his day. I'm so sorry for your loss dr. Hatch will definately be missed at our house. Our thoughts n prayers our with you n yours. God bless. Sincerly, debbie smith

Dr. Hatch was the BEST Dr. Ever! He was my Dr. For 15+ years. He saved my Daughter's sight after another Dr. said. "it's nothing "! He took on my whole Family when we moved here. He always spoke of his wife and children and grandchildren ,and showed us the pictures of the babies. Having been in nursing 35 years, I can say he was the BEST! His staff, Evette, Amanda, LaPearla are also wonderful caring people. I know he's ridding a motorcycle and saying "enjoy life everyday "! Sympathy and condolences to His Family, staff, friends and patients. Kathy Noel and Family :droplet::broken_heart:

Dr. Hatch was the best Dr. I have ever come across. Every year I would come to see him and I would say. "Dr. Hatch I am so scared one of these years when I call for my annual I just know I am going to hear you have retired". To which he would say, "Naw, I'm never gonna retire." It breaks my heart that he didn't get to. He was such a kind understanding man, and had the best advise and a way of thinking that was calming and reassuring. He will be so missed. My last appointment was 10.27.17. R.I.P

Dr Hatch was a blessing to my family. We will all miss his cheerful attentiveness and thorough care. I have been wondering why staff was being evasive; I never wanted to expect the worst. May memories bring his family peace, and God bless Pearla. She stuck with that practice through many changes. What a good doctor. I'm afraid the mold is broken, now.

It is still hard to believe Dr Hatch has passed. He had such a great sense of humor and always took the time to explain about medical conditions, the reasoning behind how the body works and what the best course of action would be to get better. I am sure if he had such an impact on his patients then his family was so lucky to have him in their lives. I send my condolences out to his family and friends, and to his patients.
