Obituary of George W. Fry

George W. Fry passed away at home on October 8, 2016. He was born in Belvidere, Il. on May 7, 1931 to Walter and Marian Fry. George served in the Army during the Korean War and went on to work for IBM for 34 years. He and his wife, Darlene, were married for 61 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Besides his wife, George is survived by sons Kenneth Fry and Kirk(Sharon) Fry, daughter Kathleen (Steve) Quiat, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Casa de la Luz Hospice who served us so well. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1:30 PM at St. mark's United Methodist Church 1431 West Magee Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Research, Cancer Fund or to St. Mark's united Methodist Church. Arrangements by Bring's Broadway Chapel.
