Obituary of Alice B. Strosser

Alice Strosser Alice passed away peacefully on November 26, 2016 at the age of 92, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in San Francisco, CA in 1924. She lived in Azusa, CA for 47 years until 1992 when she moved to Tucson, AZ with her husband Robert Strosser. Alice was extremely active in her community whether it be volunteering in her grandsons' Boy Scout Troop or being a Founding member and volunteer of Kinship and Adoption Resource and Education Family Center (KARE). Alice and Bob raised their youngest grandchildren, ages 8, 10, 12 when their mother, Nancy Strosser passed away in 1997. Her hobbies included cooking, candy making, collecting beanie babies and making her "HUGS". Alice also had a love for traveling the world especially to England and Hawaii and collecting spoons from each place she visited. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and word searches and all sorts of crafts. But most of all, her passion was her grandchildren. It will never be disputed the love she had for each and every one of them. She will be missed beyond words. Alice was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Strosser of Tucson, AZ, her parents, Herman and Alice Peters, and her brothers, John and Tommy. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Robert Strosser, of Tucson, AZ, her daughter, Kathleen Buchwald of Chino, CA, and her son, Robert Strosser, Jr, of Medford, OR., her grandchildren, Kelly Buchwald of Chino, CA, Donald and Meighan Buchwald of Torrance, CA, Chris, Andrew and Steven Strosser of Tucson, AZ, Jeff and Jon Strosser of Medford, OR., and her nine Great grandchildren, Erin, Sydney and Shane Buchwald of Torrance, CA, Brooklyn and Rylee Strosser of Tucson, AZ, McKenna and Kara Strosser of Norco, CA, Penelope Strosser of Medford, OR. and Liam Strosser of Tucson, AZ.
