Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Machado

Elizabeth Ann Machado (Domicone) died on  August 22, 2023 after a long battle with dementia.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Henry Machado. Liz is survived by her two daughters, Dina

& Susie; by her grandson Michael; her great-granddaughter Aeris; brother Robert Domicone;

Sister-in-Law Romelia Sacina (Bobby); Brother-in-Law Robert Machado (Yolanda); as well as many nieces, nephews, and all her Elmira cousins. Liz grew up in Elmira, NY and moved to Tucson in the 50's where she attended Tucson High and met her husband. Liz started her career in Early Childhood Education as a preschool teacher at American Pre-School. She completed her education while working and raising a family and completed her career as the Regional Vice President for KinderCare Learning Centers. She has many awards and accolades, even the Key to the City of El Paso, for her tireless work and contribution to early childhood education. Liz then got her broker's license and worked as an office manager for RBC Wealth Management until retiring at the age of 72. Liz excelled at anything she put her hand to with her hobbies including antiques; African Violets; and quilting.  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Bring's Broadway Chapel 6910 East Broadway Blvd.  Interment will follow the services at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery 2151 Sout Avenida Los Reyes.                       .
