Obituary of Hailey Aguilar

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, Hailey Aguilar, on May 13^th, 2023 following complications from the flu. Hailey was born to parents Jonathon and Kristen Aguilar on June 22^nd, 2016 in Tucson, AZ. She was loved by many and was known for her joyful and friendly personality, and the happiness that radiated from her.  She loved to sing and dance, and wanted to be a Mommy when she grew up.  She loved wearing dresses and accessories, and her favorite color was purple. Koalas were her favorite animal, and she often called herself the “koala girl”.  She was enjoying ballet lessons, and was in volleyball club at school.

Hailey was friendly and helpful to everyone she came into contact with. She was intelligent, an amazing student, and was finishing 1^st grade.  She loved to read and was recently devouring chapter books.  One of the most noticeable things about Hailey was her faith in the Lord.  Hailey’s faith was nourished by her parents, her sisters, family and friends, and her church and school.  She lived her faith and shared it with others, and we know when she entered heaven, she skipped into the arms of Jesus.

Hailey was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Duane Goble.  Hailey is survived by her loving parents, Jonathon and Kristen; her two sisters, Katie and Karina; her maternal grandmother, Janet Goble (Large); paternal grandparents, David and Dawn Aguilar; paternal great grandmother, Janis Eichhorst; several aunts and uncles: Colin Goble, Michael (Melissa) Aguilar, Mathew Aguilar, Samantha Aguilar; four cousins, and a host of family and friends.

Brings Broadway Chapel, 6910 E Broadway Blvd #2803, Tucson, AZ 85710, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements, and will be the location of a viewing on Friday, May 26^th, 2023 from 4-6pm.  The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 27^th, 2023 at 9:30am at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 710 S. Kolb Rd., Tucson, AZ 85710.  Refreshments will be available for guests following the service, as the family attends a private burial.  All who knew and loved Hailey are encouraged to attend.
