Mary Ham

Obituary of Mary T. Ham

Mary Toni Ham was a loving Wife, Mother and would have been an amazing Grandmother to all of her Grandchildren. She is survived by her Devoted Husband Charles E Ham Sr. 4 Children:  Son, Charles Edward Jr. Daughter, Charlotte Shelita, Youngest Daughter Deaja Ebonee. Step Daughter Jacque Jackson. 7 Grand Children and 1 on the way. Mary Toni Ham was born in Centerville TX and grew up in Lubbock,TX until she moved to Tucson AZ in 1971. She retired from Safeway where she worked in the meat department. Later allowing her natural entrepreneurial endeavors to show itself in her creativity.  From designing anything from sewing, crafts to designing hats. Mary Toni Ham made a name for herself by allowing the southern style of a church going hat to become commonplace with any ensemble. Toni did local fashion shows around town and involved herself in the community, by teaming up with Tucson Meet Yourself and sharing gifts with others. Toni was no doubt very creative but aside from fashion she had so many hobbies that she loved and put her everything into it aside from her family. She had a green thumb to boot. Everyone on our street wanted to know who the neighbor was with all the pretty roses and flowers in her yard with so many pots. Toni loved fish and had two 100 and 125 gallon aquariums to prove it in which she would clean and siphon herself all 5"2  and 125 pounds of her. She had a beautiful collection of birds and a koi pond she kept up with as well. In everything, she took pride in all of it. She was elegant, regal, graceful, strong, fearless and fiesty. She was not the one to be reckoned with but had a Heart of Gold. When she loved she loved hard. She cared for people in a way that made you immediately adopt her as your own. She was one of a kind and gracious. We will miss her but rest in the assurance that she has reunited with loved ones lost, and forever remain our Angel.
