Obituary of Jennie C. Jordan
Jennie Pesqueira Jordan
April 9, 1942 - November 1, 2022
With great sorrow, our family announces that our beautiful Matriarch of our family Jennie Pesqueira Jordan, unexpectedly and peacefully went home to the Lord at 80 on the 1st day of November 2022, with her loving husband Andy by her side.
Her family was everything to her. She was an extraordinary mother and wife. We are honored to have been her children and will continue to feel the love and comfort she always showered on us.
Jennie was a Tucson native and graduated from Tucson High School. She retired from Pima Community College. She was a fantastic cook, crocheted beautiful blankets, was an avid reader, loved her infamous novellas, and a good night at the casino. Jennie loved family gatherings and opened her home for all to join in so many celebrations, weddings, birthdays, holiday gatherings, showers, baptisms but most of all, homemade meals to gather around the table to celebrate her family.
Proceeded in death by her parents Jesus and Alicia, brother Alfred, and her beloved daughter, Michelle. She is survived by her loving husband, Andy, daughters Denise (Bruce) Mandel and Yolanda (Alex) Aranda, and sons Michael Henry (Raquel), Quihuis, Bryan (Paige) Calloway-Jordan, and Andrew Jordan. Son-in-law Craig Woodruff. Grandchildren Michael Rubin, Sarah, Joey, Jordan (Samantha), Jacob, Drew, Jillian, Victoria, Lacey, AJ, Michael Dillon, and Wyatt. Great grandchildren Dominic and Elizabella. Siblings Jesus (Adela) Pesqueira, Yolanda (Tommy) Gomez, and Albert (Elsa) Pesqueira. God Daughters Veronica and Melissa Family, and Friends.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of family, friends, and all that met her.
Come With Me
God saw she was getting tired, and the cure was not to be. So, He put his arms around her and whispered, “Come with Me.” With tearful hearts, we watched her fade away. Although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands laid to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
