Obituary of Lindell Woodrow Jackson Jr.

Lindell Woodrow Jackson Jr., 82, left this earth on September 5th, 2022, surrounded with his children.  He was born September 18, 1939, to Lindell Jackson, Fredonia, AZ and Jean Cooper, Panguitch, UT.

“Lindy,” “Coach Jackson,” “Mr. Jackson,” Mr. J,” is survived by his six children, Lindell “Tres,” Steven, Jason, Jeanie, Pamela, and Kari. Fourteen Grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

His wife, Gloria Jean Evans, preceded him death in 1987. He never had the desire to remarry. Dad would always say, “She was the best! Why would I try for anything less!”.

Lindell taught for 52 years at Valley Union High School in Elfrida, AZ. He coached Football, Basketball, and Track.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday morning 9:00AM, September 17, at Binghampton Cemetery in Tucson, AZ.
