Jackie Campbell



The spirit of Jackie Campbell, age 71, has shifted to be with Mother Gaia (Greek Goddess of Earth) on August 31st, 2022 in Tucson, Arizona.  She was born October 1st, 1950 in Alamogordo, New Mexico, the daughter of the late Jack and Virginia Weaver. She graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1968.

In 1975, she met and married George Campbell. They had two daughters, Linda Campbell (of Tucson, Arizona) and Sarah (Campbell) Gasson (of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada).  They also had one granddaughter, Elizabeth Gasson. In 1985, Jackie and her family moved to Tucson, Arizona, where she continued her education at the University of Arizona and Chapman University, obtaining a Master’s degree in Counseling.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, making cards, music, reading, and was a fan of University of Arizona football and basketball.  She also enjoyed visiting the Amerind Museum in Dragoon, Arizona.  She is survived by her husband, George Campbell, her two daughters, Linda Campbell and Sarah Gasson, son-in-law David Gasson, granddaughter Elizabeth Gasson, brother Jim Weaver and his wife JoAnn Weaver, Katie Weaver and her husband Mark Davis, and nephew Brian Weaver and his wife Jessica Weaver, and great nephew Bodhi Weaver, and great niece Ellie Weaver.

The viewing will be held September 6th, 2022 at Bring’s Funeral Home at 11:00, followed by a memorial service on September 23rd, 2022, at 9:00, also at Bring’s Funeral Home.  Internment will be at the Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista, Arizona at 1:00 on September 23rd, 2022.
