Obituary of Lee Alan Whitmer

Lee Alan Whitmer, 67, of Tucson, passed away on August 8, 2022 from natural causes.  Lee was born to Bev and Warren Whitmer in 1955. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in 1979 from Colorado State University he worked as a speech therapist with Tucson Unified School District for more than 30 years.  Lee loved reading, American History, traveling and attending University of Arizona men’s basketball games.  Beloved brother, uncle and friend he will be greatly missed. A cornerstone of strength in rough times and a source of encouragement and kindness always, Mr. Lee will stay close to our hearts.
