God bless Gerald (Jerry) Huerstel. He was simply one of the finest men any of us has ever known and was an inspiration to all. Whether he was Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, or any other association, all were blessed for having him in their life. Dad, Rest in Peace in the Kingdom of God in Heaven! Katie and Jerry were so very fortunate to have been raised in the same city as four loving grandparents who lived well into their 90s. Family was the hallmark for all four of these individuals and Jerry was not only a loving grandfather but was an excellent example of a loving father to his own sons. My children have incredible memories of their grandfather that they will share with their own children for many years to come as well as the benefits of an amazing father instilled by Jerry's example of what it meant to be a loving parent. Juli, as I care for the last of the aging grandparents, I can only hope to be one-tenth as loving and caring as you were to your father ... and your mother .... for so many years. They were so blessed to have such a wonderful daughter to see them through their golden years. I admire you more than I can say. Mary
