Mike was my sweet brother in law and friend to my husband while they both battled illnesses. They enjoyed each other’s company and bonded over football. We shared many memories together at family gatherings and will always remember his kindness and humility. My condolences to Margaret, Elizabeth, and Catherine and to his family and friends.
Love,
Anne, Patrick, and Sarah

Our deepest condolences to Margaret, Elizabeth and Catherine and all of Mike's family and friends.
Mike never missed an opportunity to tell us how proud he was of his loving wife Margaret and his two talented and beautiful daughters, He also spoke highly of his nieces, nephews, parents and siblings.
During Mike's months of treatment I was impressed with the way he felt he helped others who were also waiting for treatments. He said he was glad he could make a difference in someone's life.
Margaret took Mike to Las Vegas this year in March for the PAC 12 basketball tournament. We were fortunate they stayed with us on their way to Vegas and on their trip home. We will miss our humble and kind brother-in-law.
Love,
Mary and Frank

John and are are very sad to hear of the passing of Mike. As teachers at Salpointe we were fortunate to have had many of you cross our path. Immediately upon reading of his passing memories of Mike and Andrea’s endless shenanigans came to mind… Good times...good times. Our thoughts, prayers and love are being sent your way.

Mike and I first met in 1980 at Kon Tiki, working as dishwashers and immediately became best friends. I have great memories of playing basketball with Mike, playing for hours and hours of pickup ball everywhere we could find a game. Mike was a great power forward and had a sweet shot, and was unstoppable near the hoop. We shared a lot of our most intimate feelings growing up together, transitioning from boys to men to husbands to fathers. Words aren't sufficient to describe what our friendship has been to me, or how much I will miss his silly sense of humor and warm heart. I was fortunate enough to have an opportunity to have a long conversation about our lives, loves, and deepest thoughts during his battle with illness. Margaret, Elizabeth, and Catherine know that you were his pride, joy, and happiness above all other things. As I write this, I feel a terrible emptiness in the pit of my stomach, thinking about how much I will miss Mike's friendship and brotherhood. Mike, thank you for being my best friend and giving me all of the happy memories to laugh about. You will be missed, until we meet again. Love you, brother.

My sincerest condolences to my Aunt Margaret and cousins Elizabeth and Catherine, and all of Mike's family and friends who are grieving this loss with us.
I will remember Mike as the fun, kind uncle who had no shortage of jokes to keep people around him smiling and in good spirits at all times. I am grateful to have spent some time with him while he was sick, and will continue to be inspired by his ability to maintain his bravery and positive outlook during such a difficult time.
I love you Uncle Mike

I had the pleasure of working with Mike at Walgreens for many years. He was so kind and FUNNY! I could always count on him to make me laugh when I needed it. He was so proud of his girls and spoke of them often. He tops the list of one of the most amazing people I have had the pleasure of working with. He became a great friend to me and I will miss him dearly. My heartfelt love and condolences go out to all of his family. ❤️❤️

Our entire family will miss this kind brother in law to Jim and me, and uncle to our boys, Matt and Jeff. I'm so grateful we got to spend some time with Mike due to the flight cancellation to Vegas. He was very brave during this difficult time and made sure we knew he loved us. Of course, all our love and condolences to Margaret, Elizabeth, and Catherine; as well as Mike's siblings and friends, especially Lex who is always there to help everyone. I hope he is at peace and is reunited with his Mom, Dad, and brother, Phil.
