Paul was born in Des Montes, New Mexico to Alicia and Escolastico Martinez.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Escolastico and Alicia Martinez, his parents in law Ernesto and Emily Lopez, Infant son Michael Martinez, Siblings, Lucille Apodaca, Gabino Martinez. Cecilia Maestas, Andrew Martinez, and Margarita Johnson. Siblings -in-law Glenda Mae Lopez, Juan Lopez, Eddie Lopez, Eloy Lopez, and Frutoso Lopez. Brothers- in- law Mike Apodaca and Carlos Romo, sister-law Eva Lopez

He is survived by his wife and love of his life Sibieanne Martinez, Sons: Celestino Martinez, Antonio Martinez, and Joaquin Martinez two granddaughters, Janniah Martinez and Leah Abeyta.

Stepchildren, Anne Velosa (Al), Emily Edwards (Jerry) and James Trujillo (Jacqueline), And ten lovely step grandchildren.

Siblings: Arturo Martinez (Bella), Lori Romo, Esco Martinez (Diane), Romey Gonzales (Albert) Tina Martinez (Roger Archuleta), Marie Martinez (Cordy Pacheco), Sisters -in -law Bernice Martinez, Christine Lopez, (Carlos), Velma Lopez and Debbie Lopez, Brothers- in- Law Manuel Maestas, Mark Johnson, Lydio Lopez, Ernie "Santana" Lopez, and Frank Lopez

His beloved Tia Piedad and Tio Luis and Tia Tillie Martinez and numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins that he loved with all his heart.

Paul will be remembered by his kind heart and good deeds and love of God and Family. His love of nature especially when he was fishing and his green thumb as he cared for his lemon trees and plants.

Becoming a Fourth Degree Sir Knight in Council #5133 was a beacon for him. He enjoyed the brotherhood and service to his community.

Services as follows:

June 16, 2022, 6-7 pm. Viewing at Brings Funeral Home 7:00 pm. Rosary

June 17, 2022, Mass at Our Mother of Sorrows at 10:00 am. Reception to follow the service at the parish hall.
