Obituary of Dorothy T. Wenk

Dorothy T. Wenk, age 85, of Tucson AZ passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Henry Wenk in 1998 and daughter MaryAnn Pulsfort in 2015.  Dorothy is survived by her daughters Kathy Mayorga and husband Rich of Tucson and Sharon Haddad and husband Joseph of Tucson; grandchildren Olivia Mayorga, Jared, Zachary, and Troy Haddad; sister Teresa Fitz.  Dorothy was born and raised in Newark, NJ where she met and married her beloved husband, Henry. They were married in 1956. Dorothy and Henry raised their three cherished daughters Kathy, Sharon, and MaryAnn at their home in Linden, NJ. Dorothy moved to Tucson in 1992 and quickly made Arizona her new home. Her hobbies and interests were simple, she loved her family and spent as much of her time with her daughters, sister, and grandchildren. She was also a very dedicated parishioner of Saint Melany’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Dorothy will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.  Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Melany's Byzantine Catholic Church, 1212 N Sahuara Ave, Tucson, AZ at 10:00 am with Father Robert Rankin officiating. Committal service will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ.
