Obituary of Patricia Jean Futch

Patricia Jean Williams Futch, age 80 of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 with her loving family by her side.  Pat was born August 22, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania and was adopted as an infant by Charles Henry Williams and Katherine May Ritchie.  In 2018, Pat discovered her biological parents, Austin Graham and Clare Frisoli.  She has spent the past four years locating and connecting with her birth mother’s family which has brought much joy and happiness for both families.  Pat married Conrad Paul Futch on July 22, 1960 in Tampa, Florida and they are the parents of five children.  On February 14, 2007, she married Tommon Martin Tinney in Tucson,  Arizona.

Pat has a beautiful smile that lights up the whole room.  When she enters, she immediately says hello with a broad, beaming smile and outstretched arms.  She communicates with her whole body and it’s not unusual to have her hands moving all over the place.  Pat is also known for her culinary skills and food presentation abilities.  For instance, she made paella with a lobster tail positioned vertically and supported by lit sparklers.  She is a kind, loving and giving person, and was a foster parent to many children.  She also recognized others’ needs and funded many opportunities for children and youth to engage in experiences that would not have been possible otherwise.  Pat is a friend to all and treats each individual person she interacts with as important and valued. She welcomes and treats everyone like family.

Pat is the owner of Good Ole Tom’s with locations in Hartford Connecticut and Tucson Arizona.  She is active in supporting both communities.  When asked what she values most, she replied, “Family” and then added “I just want to be an Italian Grandma with lots of food for everyone”.  She is a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents: Charles Henry Williams and Katherine May Ritchie (adoptive): Austin Graham and Clare Frisoli (birth); husbands: Conrad Paul Futch, Tommon Martin Tinney; son: Timothy Shawn Futch; step-son: Martin Tinney; step-daughter: Lori Tinney; son-in-law: Donald Charles Hancock.  She is survived by her children: Melody Futch Hancock of Vail, Arizona, Kevin Futch (Kathy) of Tucson, Arizona, Ken Futch (Sheri) of Tucson Arizona, Randy Futch (Amy) of Vail, Arizona; grandchildren: Joshua Hancock (Amy), Nathan Hancock (Nicole), Erin Hancock, Deidra Propst (Jeremy), Ashley Sullivan (Travis), Nicole Carey (Nick), Ryan Futch, Jonathan Futch, Alex Futch, Hannah Futch, Samuel Futch; Great grandchildren: Nolan Hancock, Bennett Hancock, Ellis Hancock, Ellie Hancock, Jane Hancock, Joseph Propst, Jordan Propst, Dakoda Propst, Ivy Sullivan, Everleigh Sullivan.
