Obituary of Joyce Anne Beveridge

Joyce Anne Beveridge went to be with our Lord on Friday, January 13, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, David Charles Beveridge; her daughter, Mary (Marc) Hack of St. Joseph, Illinois; her son, Jon Beveridge of Tucson, Arizona; sister, Jeanette (Marvin) Skaggs of California; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Joyce was born May 24, 1945 in South Gate, CA. She met David while living in California. After they married they moved to New Orleans, LA then to Long Beach, CA before settling down in Tucson, Arizona in 1969. She was a secretary for an advertisement agency while both in California and in Tucson for many years before becoming a full time homemaker. She was a Brownie Leader and involved with all activities her children were involved in, swimming at Eastern Hills, soccer and baseball. She and David enjoyed traveling and sightseeing all over the country, their favorite visits were to San Diego where they made frequent trips. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Friend and we will all miss her smile and laugh. We know that she is dancing in Heaven right now and we cherish the day we can dance with her. The family requests donations in Joyce's name be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 5025 E. Washington St., Suite 102, Phoenix, AZ, 85034. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
