Obituary of Helen J. Kmak

Helen J. Kmak Went to Heaven on February 4, 2012. She was born on February 28, 1922 in Pittsburgh, PA. Daughter of Robert and Stephany Stankiewicz and was the seventh child of seven children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Julius after 57 years of marriage. Together they had six children and 11 grandchildren. She also adopted Imelda and her family. She is survived by one sister, Irene Tardif from Mass and numerous nephews and nieces. Helen was a wonderful and faithful wife, loving and caring mother and grandmother. Helen's love was her family and would help anyone in need and greeted everyone with her big beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes. She was a volunteer to the Church and School. She was lovingly referred to as "Mama" by everyone. She will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Helen was a devout Catholic who lived and loved her faith and family to the end. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL 6910 E. Broadway Blvd. A Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at St Cyril of Alexandria 4725 E. Pima.
