Obituary of Vincent Nicholas Lipari
Vincent Nicholas Lipari, 12/25/23-02/16/12
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father. Preceded
in death by his sons, Steven and Billy, he is survived by his children,
Karen, Wendy, Daniel, Susan, Jeffrey and John, his many grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. His numerous accomplishments included: Serving as
active military during WWII as well as a reservist for the United States Air
Force. He was employed for 35 years as an agent with Prudential Insurance;
he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and helped as President of,
Parents without Partners. He became a licensed aircraft pilot at the age of
63 and with dedication, volunteered for 11 years at Tucson Medical Center.
He was affectionately referred by his loved ones as Popso, Popason, Pops,
Daddy, Vincenso, Vinny, Walio and, "Old Man" and his fractured sense of
humor and groaner jokes are his legacy. We will remember fondly, his warm
smile and twinkling blue eyes. He will be missed by his many long time
friends, colleagues and large extended family. "Arrivederci, you're on your
way and we will meet again someday." On Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 at
7:00 p.m., a Celebration Of A Life well lived will be held at, BRING'S
BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers,
