Obituary of Donald Samuel Caccamise

Donald Samuel Caccamise Born on May 16, 1948, in Rochester, New York, Donald Samuel Caccamise lost his brave 13-year battle with cancer on February 17, 2012. He is survived by his beloved wife, Liz and his children, Jennifer (Michael) Bay, Karen (Michael) Evancic and Michael Caccamise. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Corinna, Matthew and Corbin Evancic and Richard and Kylene Caccamise, as well as his brother, Hal (Lu) Caccamise. Don retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Captain after 23 years of service to his country and was a Veteran of the Vietnam and Gulf Wars. He also spent 11 years as a public school teacher for SUSD and TUSD. He was an incredible husband, loving father, adoring grandfather and cherished friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either The Paralyzed Veterans of America, 7 Mill Brook Rd., Wilton, NH 03086 or the USO, 2111 Wilson Blvd., Suite 1200, Arlington, VA 22201. Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm, Monday, February 20, 2012, at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, with visitation 1 hour prior to service.
