Obituary of Dana Lee Apodaca

Dana Lee Prchal Apodaca passed away on February 25, 2012, leaving behind her three precious boys: Gage, age 6; Louie, age 5; and Kayden, age 3. Dana is also survived by her mother and father, Peggy and Joe Prchal; her two sisters, Alena and Janelle; and her grandfathers, Ken Prchal and Don Staggs. Dana will be sorely missed by her many loving family members and multitude of friends. She was a strong and beautiful spirit, known especially for being an amazing and devoted mother. Family and friends were in awe of her strength and tenacity as she "fought like a girl," battling long and hard against breast cancer. Services are being held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 3, at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 710 S. Kolb. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dana Prchal Apodaca Children's Trust, 7642 E.
