Obituary of Margaret Anne File

In loving memory of, Margaret "Peggy" Anne File. Born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, on September 27, 1934, died March 3, 2012. Survived by her sister, Elsie Tolan, her brother, James Tolan, her daughters, Joellen (File) de la Vara and Elizabeth (File) Shulkin, her son-in-law, Charlie de la Vara Sr., her precious grandsons Charlie Jr., Joe, Sammy and Bennet and her only granddaughter and "angel princess" Emma Leigh. Preceded in death by her soul mate and cherished husband of 42 years, Maj. Donald E. File and her son, James Loren File. Peggy retired from the United States Air Force as a flight nurse and went on to share her compassion for caring for others as a devoted, loving nurse for over 30 years. She was the director of the Practical Nurse Program for Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona for 17 years. She trained many nurses the invaluable skills to care for the sick, the dedication to help others in need and filled their hearts with courage and benevolence. We are honored to call you our mother, sister, Mam Mam and best friend. Your unconditional live, compassion and generosity will be everlasting. You taught us to be strong and courageous in times of despair and to allow our integrity and spirit to overwhelm us. You kept us safe. You kept us happy. You kept our faith. We feel you in our hearts, in our prayers and in our souls. You will always be with us. The earth just lost the most amazing woman we have ever known and heaven will shine more brilliantly now that you are home. For those who have faith in you Lord, life does not cease - it merely changes! And when our earthly dwelling falls to ruins, we find an eternal home in heaven. Peace be with you Peggy Anne! You can now stop the coughing, stop the suffering and take that very deep breath you have been longing for. We love you "Always and All Ways". Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, March 9, 2012 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass will be offered, 10:00 am, Saturday, March 10, 2012, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco. Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery.
