Obituary of Lloyd William Aultman

Lloyd W. Aultman Affectionately known to his grandchildren as "Grandpa" or "Poppie" passed away suddenly Saturday, April 21, 2012. Lloyd was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 17, 1930. The family moved, subsequently, to Milwaukee, WI, where he grew up. After serving in the Marine Corps he attended Columbia University and earned his J.D. at Saint John's University. A long time resident of New York, he was involved in amateur and professional theater with the Chappaqua Drama Group and drama productions throughout the New York area. For many years and at numerous parishes in New York and Tucson he served as a lector, Eucharistic minister, teacher of religious education and directed the drama productions of the vacation bible school at Saint Pius X. He also entertained countless children at Mesquite Elementary School and the elderly in a number of assisted living homes in Tucson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela and children, Kathleen MacFarlane, Eric Aultman and J Aultman-Moore. He is also survived by six beautiful grandchildren: Lloyd, Marcy, Angela, Joseph, Benjamin and Kathryn. Lloyd will be sorely missed. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will live on in our hearts and lives. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Church of St. Pius X. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
