Obituary of Helen Louise Whitehead

Whitehead, Helen, 81, was called home to the Lord on May 9, 2012. She was born Helen Louise Cole to Arthur and Cordia Cole in Hamilton, Ohio on August 13, 1930. She graduated from Hanover High School and subsequently served her country in the US Army Medical Corp. She is the widow of Ernest Whitehead. Helen is survived by her two sons: Mark Edwards, his wife, Janet and granddaughters, Emily and Grace in the Houston, TX area; and Kevin Edwards, his wife, Heidi and granddaughter, Naomi of Cheyenne, WY, brother, Edward Cole and his wife Marlene of Silver City, NM and sister, Caroline of Hamilton, OH. Helen lived in a number of states in her life, but called Tucson home. A service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 2 pm, at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. In her later years, Helen was lovingly and expertly cared for by her friend, Margaret Moreno and her wonderful staff at Camino de Paz Assisted Living Center.
