Obituary of Floyd Carey Kirk

Floyd C. Kirk 66, passed away on June 9, 2012 from an aggressive cancer. Floyd was the only son of Alma and Carey Kirk, who preceded him in death. He lived in the San Francisco East Bay Area from 1956 until moving to Tucson in 2004. Floyd had many professions during his lifetime including auto mechanic, telephone lineman for PacBell, quality control foreman at Mack Truck in Fremont, and nuclear technician at Lawrence Radiation Lab in Livermore, CA. Floyd loved autos and owned his first car, a 1951 Chevy, at the age of 13. He also was an avid movie buff and could remember plots and lines from an astounding number of movies. He will be missed by many friends both in California and Arizona. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
