Obituary of Aida Villagran Schmidt

Schmidt, Aida V., Maria Aida Guadalupe Villagran Robles de Schmidt, (our beloved mother), 87, died Monday, August 13, 2012 at home in Tucson, AZ. She was born September 15, 1924 in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico to J. Ascencion Villagran and Francisca (Robles) Villagran. She was a devout Christian Catholic and married Henry Byrnes Schmidt in July 17, 1955 and she was widowed April 19, 1966. She was employed and retired from Valley National Bank. She is survived by Henry J. Schmidt, Frances Goodenough, Aida Harvison, John Schmidt, Anne Nelsen and Maria Anderson. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. The Wake will be at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, Friday, August 17, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco, Saturday, August 18, 2012.
