Obituary of Gary Allen Johnson

Gary Allen Johnson passed peacefully Saturday morning August 25, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Marion, IN. November 23, 1938. Gary was a tough ole guy. He stoically fought cancer for nearly 10 years. Gary served in the army as a youth, and as a police officer, a postal worker, tool dealer, and ambulance director. He retired in 2005 after decades in the mining supply business in Tucson, AZ. Gary was a husband, father, brother, veteran, and Christian. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; brother, Merrill; sister, Cheryl; daughters, Pam, Cynthia, Elaine, and Tracy; grandchildren, Brandi, Leah, William, Brian, Brent and Kyle; nephew, Steve; nieces, Gina, Cama and Mary Ann; many friends and his large Tucson Mountain Baptist Church family. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at the Tucson Mountain Baptist Church, 5757 West Ajo Way, Tucson, AZ. 85735. Condolences may be made to the family at 614 N.
