Obituary of Leo Clare Johnson

Leo C. Johnson 83, went home to his Heavenly Father on August 28, 2012. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Nadine and six children, Deborah (Keith) Peterson, Lee (Larry) Watson, Rena Sabey, Antoinette (Howard) Dee, Joseph (Michelle) Johnson and John (Connie) Johnson; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Born and raised in Safford, AZ, U of A basketball scholarship, educator and administrator in Tucson where he raised his family. He served three missions for the LDS Church and Bishop three times. He loved sharing his woodworking skills and garden. Visitation will be Friday, August 31, 2012, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Services will be Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 6901 E. Kenyon Dr. Burial immediately following at the LDS Cemetery
