Obituary of Joyce Ann Jones

Joyce A. Jones Born August 12, 1936 in Woodbury County, Iowa passed into the arms of our Heavenly Father on August 31, 2012 after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Edna Spink, her husband Dick Jones and her grandson Kyle Henson. Joyce is survived by her daughters Joy Wolfe and Darla Henson; sons-in-law Terry and Ray; grandchildren Kevin, Lisa and Keith Duckett, Hanna, Marley and great-granddaughter Lauren Duckett. She moved to AZ three years ago to be near her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, working outdoors, supporting the various interests and endeavors of her grandchildren and pet sitting. She was active in her church folding bulletins and serving meals. She was known as Mamaw by many. Heartfelt thanks goes to the Red Cross, their care was key to the treatment provided at St. Joseph’s hospital. Her family would also like to thank the doctors, nurses, techs, respiratory, dietary, transport, vascular lab and environmental services staff for taking such good care of our Mom and us. Memorial Service 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 3, 2012 at Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior, 555 S. La Canada, Green Valley, AZ, with Pastor John Stieve officiating.
