Obituary of Gilmer Callison

Gilmer Woods Callison, 90, of Tucson died November 11, 2012. He served in the US Marine Corps during World War II, graduated from Berea College in Kentucky and received his master's degree at West Virginia University. He taught many years in TUSD and his life-long hobby was genealogy. He is survived by his wife, Lavaun Halsey Callison, daughters Alice Callison (John Richardson) and Ann Callison, grandchildren Andrea (Tom) Trewinnard, Trevor Richardson, James Oldeschulte, and David Oldeschulte, brother Hubert (Virginia) Callison, and many nieces and nephews. His memorial service is Saturday, November 17 at 11:00 am at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6565 E. Broadway. Memorial donations are suggested to the Ott Family YMCA, 401 S.
