Obituary of Arlene R. Cloud

Arlene Ruth (Maue) Cloud went to heaven on November 12, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. She was a 49 year member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, a team member on several bowling leagues, an avid square dancer, a long time member of the Legion of Mary and the Altar Society. She was the mother of nine children and was married for 59 years to John Fredrick Cloud who preceded her in death on August 25, 2008. She was also preceded in death by sons Stephen and Gregory, and grandson Bobby. Arlene is survived by: son Jay and Christiane (Dilts) Cloud, their 5 children and 5 grandchildren; son Douglas and Susie (Zahn) Cloud, their 3 children and 8 grandchildren; daughter-in-law Susan Cloud (Stephen), their 7 children and 11 grand children; daughter Barbara and David Clark, their 3 children and 6 grand children; son, Robert and Sandra (Nelson) Cloud, their 7 children and 12 grandchildren; daughter, Penny Cloud and Jason Henderson, their child; daughter Marilyn Cloud, her 5 children and 12 grand children; son, Fr. Charles Cloud and her sister Betty Smith of Illinois. Arlene was raised on a farm in Michigan and met her future husband at a roller rink. John often said that they’d been rolling around together ever since. Now they are together again.
