Obituary of Rose Catherine Collura

Rose Casella Collura, beloved wife of Deacon Frank Collura, passed away November 24, 2012, in Tucson, AZ. She was born in Waltham, MA in 1922. She is survived by her sister, Theresa C. Stepp and many nieces and nephews. Rose was employed by the Waltham Public Schools for twenty years, where for the last ten years of her employment she was office manager in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools. She was also secretary to the Superintendent and to the Waltham School Committee. She retired from the School Department in 1969 when she and her husband, Frank, moved to Tucson, AZ. In Tucson, she was employed as a secretary in the Health Department of TUSD, retiring in 1983. Rose was an active member of St. Francis de Sales Parish where she served for many years as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and as a Lector/Dommentator. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday November 30, 2012, with Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Mass will be offered 10:00 am, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco.
