Obituary of Barbara Ann Fultz

Barbara Ann Fultz Left this Earth, but not our hearts, on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. She was born on January 2nd, in Camden, North Carolina. Barbara grew up in North Carolina and Portsmouth, Virginia. Upon meeting and marrying her husband of 52 years, John, she travelled the world living in South Carolina, Alaska, Nevada, Hawaii, Japan, Kansas, West Germany, and Arizona. Barbara worked for Devon Gables Health Care Center for over 20 years. As a consummate caregiver, Barbara continued to help others even after she retired. She spent her retirement years as a group home provider. When Barbara was not working and caring for others she spent her time sewing and creating wonderful crocheting and knitting projects. However, what Barbara enjoyed most were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mildred Crawford and her brother, Charles Crawford, Jr. Barbara is survived in death by her husband John Fultz; her children Sheila (Gerald) Arrington, Terrance Fultz, Glenda Bonds, Jacqueline (Nurnie) Reid, Shawn English; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 12 brothers and sisters; and numerous nephews and nieces.
