Obituary of Robert Treadway

Robert (Bob) Treadway, 75 went to be with the LORD and passed loved ones on December 15, 2012. For the last 4 years, Bob has lived the quiet peacefullife up in Camp Verde close to his daughter, Cheryl and son-in-law, Sam Pugh. Bob served 8 years in the U.S. Air Force, then, became a Massachusetts State Trooper until moving to Arizona in 1977. In Tucson, he worked as a Criminal Investigator for the Pima County Attorney's Office and then worked and retired from the Air National Guard Fire Dept. After retiring, Bob enjoyed working for some of the local hotels, where he shuttled visitors to and from the airport. Bob was a very outgoing and friendly person and as soon as you met him you knew you had a new friend for life. Bob was a long standing member of the American Legion Post 36, VFW Post 549 and the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 2. Bob loved to go fishing, hunting, traveling and was an avid reader. Bob is also survived byhis brothers, Sam (Alice Ann) Treadway, Barton (Cathy) Treadway, daughter, Lynne (Rick) Carrico, granddaughters, Christina (Jeff) St. Clair, Cassandra (Jeremy) Harris, grandson, Ricky Carrico, 5 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Public Viewing will be held at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, on Friday, December 21, 2012, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 22, 2012 also at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
