Obituary of Robert Anthony Fiore

Robert Anthony Fiore Jr., also known as Bob Fiore, 49, died January 5, 2013. He was born to Robert and Rosanne Fiore on October 23, 1963 in Long Island, New York. He graduated from Amphitheater High School in 1981. He enlisted in the Navy in 1983 and served our country for six years. Immediately after, he joined the Nogales Police Department and served the community as a Police Officer. While in service to the City of Nogales, he was an instructor at ALETA, teaching and mentoring new Peace Officers. In May, 1995, he continued his career of service as a Deputy for the Pima County Sheriff Department until his retirement in July 2012. During his service, he received numerous awards for his performance; Detective of the Quarter, Detective of the Year, Federal Bureau of Investigation Commendation Award, American Legion Certificate of Commendation, just to mention a few, but the most common was the constant admiration that was given by his coworkers. Bobby always embraced his responsibility as a husband, father, brother and son with his witty dry sense of humor. He enjoyed various activities with the people he loved including, shooting rockets, flying his helicopters, golfing, shooting guns, coaching soccer, riding his jet ski, traveling, fishing, hunting, and simply hanging out with family. He always placed others ahead of his own well-being and this was especially observed in his last days. Bobby's legacy will continue to grow through his wife Analizbeth of 26 years, and their children Robert, Cory (who he now holds hand with in Heaven) Anaiz, and Dominic. His parents, parents felt his influence in law, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends who held Bobby just as dearly in their hearts. We will miss him and the love he gave us. His spirit will live on through the many people that he touched. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am, January 12, 2013, at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 N. Kolb Rd. All those who wish to attend are encouraged to do so.
