Obituary of Jim Miller
James Willard Miller
3/11/48-1/07/13
Our loving Husband, Father and Papa, Jim Miller, passed away January 7th,
2013 at the young age of 64. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jim moved to
Tucson, AZ at the age of 4. Jim attended Palo Verde High School where on
August 6,1966, he met his future wife Bobbi. They began going steady eight
days later and married two years later. Jim and Bobbi built a beautiful life
together and a very successful window coverings manufacturing company,
B.D.D., Inc. Jim is survived by his wife Bobbi and three children, Tom
(Jen), Karrie (Ryan) and Ben (Lisa). Jim had many passions in life, his
family, his work, sports and travel, and managed to find time to fit it all
in. Jim coached his children's little league and soccer teams, was a Scout
Leader, and contributed to the community through his work as a Shriner and
Mason. He also donated thousands of blinds to various charity groups in the
Tucson Community. Jim was a great friend and was always the go-to guy to
help with whatever was needed. Jim was proud to receive the award of
Industry Foundation Merit Award from the ASID for his work in the Old
Pueblo. Jim and Bobbi were a fixture at many of U of A sporting events and
loved traveling to Las Vegas and many other destinations with a beach. Jim
was loved by many but he was loved the most by his grandchildren, Madeline,
Olivia, Emma, Caleb, Caitlin and Eli. Jim will be greatly missed and will
remain in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating
to the American Heart Association or No Limits Foundation. A Memorial
Service will be held 1:30 pm, Sunday, January 13, 2013, at BRING'S BROADWAY
CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
