I met Walt in 2003, at first we were co-workers. I always valued Walt's insight and opinions.
We quickly became friends and stayed in touch even though we no longer worked together, A favorite memory with Walt was a work trip to England. We had a productive work visit but the highlight was our time outside of the office. Exploring London and the English countryside. Even taking in a Rush concert in Birminham England. We took a wrong turn at a roundabout on the way back from the show and got back to the hotel at about 5AM. We were laughing and stopping to ask for directions in little towns on the way back.
I will miss Walt's advice, friendship, wit, sense of humor, and email jokes.
My condolences to Mary and Maggie. Rest in Peace Walt.
