Hannah Blake

Obituary of Hannah Faith Blake

Hannah Faith Blake, 24, passed away on December 25, 2021. Hannah was born on April 26, 1997, to Nichole Clawson and Robert Roman, and was the light of her parents’ lives. Hannah graduated from Canyon Del Oro High School in 2016. She made many wonderful friends participating in the Achieve Builds Confidence and the Jewish Community Center Taglit programs, as well as the Friends for Life youth group. Hannah loved dancing, singing, arts and crafts, and her many four-legged friends, including Max, Backpack, and Seneca. She still missed her Rainbow Bridge dogs, including Peanut, Scout and Reba. She was a fan of Taylor Swift, JoJo Siwa, and both Frozen movies, including the soundtracks, and recently developed a love of Naruto.

Her time with us was cut much too short. She only recently crossed off two bucket list items, visiting the Zak Bagans Haunted Museum in Las Vegas with her dad, and seeing JoJo in concert. Hannah also participated in Special Olympics programs, including cheerleading, basketball, baseball, bowling, and track and field.

Hannah is survived by her mom, Nichole Clawson, her dad, Ralph Robert Roman, Step-dad Gale Clawson, and siblings Jessica and James (Sydney) Clawson, Aunt Anita Roman, Grandparents Joe and Laura Lenders (Opa and Lola), Great Grandma Lucille Garciga, Uncle Eric (Mery) Blake, Uncle George (Brandi) Hoffman, cousins Elizabeth and Emma, Aunt Dannette (Darren) Blake, Great Aunt Linda Martinez and cousins Pete “PJ” Martinez and Melonie (Matt) Detterer, and Great Aunt Lisa Garciga.

Hannah was blessed to have many special friends, including her boyfriend since middle school, Adam Horner and his parents, Shakira Lindgren and Isaac Horner, Lee and Bev Showalter, who have been in Hannah’s life since she was a baby, and were like an aunt and uncle to her, godfather Chuck (Karen) Strickland, Robert Roman’s partner, Dr. Lori Riegel, and her daughter, Logan Riegel, and Robert (Patricia) Guth, whom Hannah always loved staying with in Florida, along with Mac.

A memorial service will be held at Journey Church followed by interment at Sha’arei Shalom Cemetery.
