Theresa Samaniego Castro

December 10, 1952- September 25, 2021

On Saturday, September 25, or beloved, beautiful mother ran straight across the blue skies into the arms of her Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Rose Sillik Samaniego, and her father, Frank Joseph Samaniego, Sr. She is survived by her son, Ricardo, and her daughter, Danielle (Eddie), as well as her two grandchildren, Reyna and little Eddie. Theresa was a 1971 graduate of Tucson High School, and spent 45 years in the legal community as a legal secretary. She began her work in the DECA program at THS, and worked for private law firms, ending her career with the Attorney General's Office in the Civil Rights Division. Anyone who knew Theresa, or as her family knew her as Noni, knew her as a kind and gentle, who was sensitive, loving, and mellow. She was quiet, generous, and the best listener. We will miss her silliness, her compassion, and her spirit forever.  Services to follow at a later date
