Obituary of Ricky Allen Ramm

Born in Winona, Minnesota, Rick spent most of his life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before arriving in Tucson, Arizona.  

Rick was one of a kind.  He was a strong man with a gentle soul and a strong faith.  Always willing to lend a hand, always had a story to tell, never forgot a name.   His passing has left a giant hole in all of our hearts and lives and he will truly be missed.   He had an interesting life with varied occupations, from working on the railroad, driving school bus and retiring from the armored car business.   Many happy years were spent camping and spending time with friends at Sun Ray Hills.

Rick was predeceased by father Virgil, Jr., mother Shirley, brother Michael, mother-in-law Bea Wettengel and sister-in-law Barbara Lakkard.

He is survived by wife of almost 25 years Peggy (Wettengel) Ramm; sister Ruth Ann (Everett) Hyde, brothers Steven (Kathy) Ramm and Tim (Carol) Ramm, sister-in-law Tammy Ramm and

brother-in-law John Lakkard.

Also survived by lifelong friend Christopher Hicks and fellow adventurer (especially in the search for cookies) Karen Klusman, in addition to many friends and numerous family members including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A future memorial service will be planned.
