Obituary of Dorothy Roberta Beal

Beal, Dorothy Roberta passed away on Saturday May 8, 2021. She was born on October 3, 1940 in Carbondale, Illinois to the late Dorothy and Robert Simpson. She was preceded in death by her husband J. Winston Beal and her sister Joyce Kaufman. She is survived by son Marty (Judy) Beal; brother John (Nancy) Simpson; granddaughters Melissa (Colin) McRae and Jennifer (Chris) Stranz. Roberta retired from Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, IA where she worked as an RN in labor and delivery. She is a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Tucson. A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 27th at 10 am at Immanuel Presbyterian Church 9252 E. 22nd Street. Memorials can be sent to the Arizona Chapter for The ALS Association or The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
