Obituary of Fannie Mae Darling
Fannie Mae Darling, 87, of Tucson was hugged into Heaven by the gentle arms of Jesus on April 13, 2021. She was born in Romeo, Michigan on November 29, 1933 to Bruce and Helen Galbraith.
Fannie Mae loved the Lord and serving Him and her family. She taught Sunday School, Children’s Church, VBS, and Women’s Ministries for years and made literally thousands of needlework gifts to share with her missionary partners, women and children all over the world. She had the gift of encouragement and was always there with a card, a call, and a prayer – anytime, for anyone. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
Fannie Mae was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Laurie. She is survived by Sidney, her husband of 67 years; her daughters Debbie Pinnell, Kathy (Andy) O’Brien, Ruth Darling, by her brother Dr. William (JoAnn) Galbraith, and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held Friday, April 23rd at 9:00 am at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
